Winter Activities in Omaha!

The winter months can make you feel cooped up and bored at home. You can’t go out for walks, attend the Farmer’s Markets, or any other exciting spring and summer activities that Omaha has to offer. Below are some great activities you can do around the metro this winter!

Go Ice Skating at the Skate Ribbon. Within the last couple of years, the Heartland of America Park has gotten some major improvements done, including a skate ribbon that they turn into an ice skating rink in the winter time!

Try an Escape Room! Omaha has a few great options such as Get Out Omaha, House of Conundrum, and the Escape Omaha. This is usually something you’ll want to do with a group, and you’ll need to make sure and book it ahead of time.

Go Axe Throwing! This is a great activity to do with a big group, as a couple, or even by yourself. Check out Flying Timber Axe Throwing or Craft Axe Throwing here in Omaha!

Go to the indoor exhibits at the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. It has five indoor exhibits including the Desert Dome and the aquarium and they’re not too far away from the main entrance.
