Here is the line up for the Omaha Performing Art’s Jazz on the Green summer Series. 7pm each Thursday nite at Turner Park, 30th and Farnam and it is always free. A short 10 minute drive from South Park Apartments.
July 22: Sugar Thieves, a high energy jazz band that mixes sultry blues and danceable grooves.
July 29: The Prairie Cats and Kansas City-based big band Grand Marquis.
Aug. 5: Orquesta Alto Maiz, a Latin jazz band influenced by Afro-Caribbean music.
Aug. 12: Luigi Waites tribute.
