Start Your Apartment Search Early!

As the Midwest freezes over this week, you may have some extra time bundled up at home to recover from the busy holiday season and start focusing on day-to-day life again. You may be starting to do research on different apartment communities in the area if you’re planning to move in the spring or summer and wondering if it is too early to start looking for an apartment.

We believe it is never too early to start looking around! Starting your search during the winter months can be beneficial because you can narrow down which community you want to be at. You can set up a tour to see the community, and some communities even have virtual and video tours they can send you so you can view them from the comfort of your own home. You can also ask them if they have a waitlist. At Pinhook Flats and CUE, we have a waitlist you can apply for, and you will get first dibs on apartments that come available in order of your waitlist position. You can be on the waitlist for up to six months, so now is the perfect time to start looking!
