Spring Is The Perfect Time For Stargazing!

Look at the stars! Wayne State College begins its 2018 Spring Season in The Fred G. Dale Planetarium at Wayne State College on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.

“This spring season includes a huge selection of shows,’’ said. Dr. Todd Young, Director of the Fred G. Dale Planetarium at Wayne State College. “See 10 out of the possible 29 unique shows and win an amazing astronomical prize.” Are you willing to take The Great Planetarium Challenge? With every visit to the planetarium, get your score sheet stamped by the appropriate planetarium show that you saw. As you complete your score sheet, you’ll earn prizes. When you finish the challenge, you’ll get a grand prize!

The planetarium offers fun for the whole family! This spring will include special shows for kids as well as science and math nerds. There will be live music in the planetarium on Mar. 15 and 16.

Please visit www.wsc.edu/planetarium for a detailed planetarium show schedule, more information about these public shows and instructions on how to book a private group showing at Wayne State College. Suggested donation for shows is $5 for adults and $3 for children. All donations are appreciated.
