South Park Apartments In Omaha Nebraska, An Exciting and Cosmopolitan City To Call Home.

As Omaha grows, it’s becoming more exciting and cosmopolitan.  The Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area passed the 900,000 mark for the first time in 2014. Our Metro Population is now estimated at 904,421. From Garth Brooks breaking the Nebraska ticket sales record this month, (The previous record was held by Garth as well. It was from September 24th – 28th 1997)  to new retail, restaurants, bakeries, Hockey Arena, Insurance Companies, Stadiums, Ballparks. . . the list just goes on and on.

When it comes to living in Omaha, the roughly 90,000 leasable apartments are dominating the housing landscape in ways not seen in the last decade.  The number of new apartments is projected to grow 3.2 percent in 2015 over 2014 — that’s above the 1.9 percent increase anticipated for the nation and the largest annual jump for the Omaha area since 2001, according to Reis Inc., a New York City-based real estate trend watcher.

A little closer to home, right across the street from South Park,  our neighborhood grocery store Bag N Save at 50th and Grover St is about to undergo an $838,000 big makeover. One of the things that makes living at South Park so great is the walkability of the neighborhood. You don’t have to go far to find what you want.
