Ring in The New Year Right at These Papillion Apartments!

Welcome to the New Year, everyone! I hope it’s the best one yet. With a new year can certainly come a new you. Making resolutions and keeping them is always tough but always worth it! One of my new year’s resolutions (besides not eating like it’s Christmas or Thanksgiving anymore) is to live life to the fullest! I know there are many ways to accomplish that but the one I’ll focus on with this blog post is becoming more active in our community. So what’s there to do around here?

One event that caught my eye is the Midwest Pizza Fest in the Omaha Design Center on January 18^th. I know, I know… It’s a bit of a conflict with my initial resolution but sacrifices must be made. If getting to know other folks in our community involves pizza and beer, so be it–I don’t make the rules, folks.

Another great event to consider is ABC Story Time! at the Sump Memorial Library. This event is aimed at children so if you’ve got kids, bring them out! Sump Memorial Library is a valuable resource and a striking building—the architecture really is fantastic! Plus it’s a great way to meet other parents and new people. Plus you can check out that new book, DVD, or game you’ve had your eye on. Libraries are fantastic free resources!
