Peony Village Apartments supports the people of Omaha with a Food Drive

Peony Village Apartments is proud to announce its annual Food Drive for The Salvation Army Food Pantry this holiday season.  We all know there are many people who are less fortunate than ourselves.  Some do not have homes, jobs or even food for themselves or their families.  We like to show compassion to those less fortunate than us every year by encouraging our residents to donate non-perishable food items to these people and help them to have a great holiday season.

You can bring your donations to the Peony Village leasing office:

  • Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. or
  • Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The items that the Food Pantry is in need of are:

  • Cereal (an extreme need)
  • Boxed dinners (dry only…no frozen)
  • Boxed or bagged rice products
  • Canned meat
  • Canned vegetables or tomato products
  • Boxed macaroni and cheese
  • Canned soups/stews/beans

We encourage everyone to participate in at least one charity activity this holiday season. Whether it is donating food, donating clothing, helping out at a soup kitchen, Toys for Tots or any other program…they are all a great help.  Although you may not hear a thank you for these gifts/donations, know that they are all greatly appreciated by those who receive them. Give those in need a chance to give their families food, clothing and/or toys this holiday season.
