Parkwood Manor tracks local Knick-Knacks and Artifacts

Here at Parkwood we’re all about classic charm with our look. Nowadays its hard to find certain things and places to replicate that, but we got something for you! If shopping second hand, vintage shopping or overall antiquing is something you enjoy regularly or every once in a while to find that certain something, this will be right down your alley.

The Douglas County Historical Society is putting on their annual Garage sale just up the street from Parkwood Manor! At 770 N 114th St, Omaha, NE 68154 (The Old Rush Market) in Miracle Hills and take place from Thursday, August 1st through Sunday, August 4th.

If your worried about high pricing don’t fret, most of their inventory will be priced at the $25 dollar range and below. The perfect opportunity to add something special to your collection or just a lovely homey addition to your Apartment Living here at Parkwood Manor. The inventory of the items will include collectible toys, books, records and a variety of antiques as well as designer and vintage clothing and jewelry . There will also be fine china, glassware, furniture as well as a selection of art for that little extra charm to add to your humble abode.

Many of the Items are donated and the event itself is staffed by volunteers. This event helps fund the DCHS and their mission to preserve our Counties history for many generations to come.
