Omaha Locals Open Lighthouse Pizza Nearby Pacific Gardens Apartments
Another local establishment opened up right close to Pacific Gardens: Lighthouse Pizza. Banners had been hanging for a good month prior to the opening, so of course we had to check it out the other day to see what all the fuss was about. It was great NY style pizza that is described in their terms as “hot, gooey, mega slice pizza”. They aren’t joking around. One slice was large enough for two meals. You can build your own or select from one of their signature combinations. Have you ever had Parmesan fries on a pizza? It is one of the staff’s favorite creations. They also have a drive thru for convenience and it stays open until 3am on Friday and Saturday.
The owners are two brothers, Scott and Matt, who grew up in the Westside area. We stopped by to welcome them to the neighborhood and they were kind enough to extend a discount to our Pacific Gardens’ residents.
