O! Financially Fit Announces Date of Next Financial Education Workshop For Families In O!maha Nebraska

A local organization of professionals is hosting their third financial fitness workshop, O! Financially Fit, for Omaha families on Saturday, August 29th from 9:00 a.m. – noon at the Regency Lodge off of 107th and Pacific.  The workshop is free of charge and open to the public.  The content of the workshop is designed to provide a range of insights into the most pertinent financial matters that face families in the community.  From implementing a budget and paying down consumer debt, to topics like estate planning 101, understanding personal credit, and the basics of home and auto insurance; the purpose is to provide valuable educational details to attendees without selling any products or services. The panel of local experts range from a Nebraska state school board executive, to professionals in banking, financial & estate planning, taxes, insurance, and real estate. The group has also built two curriculums for school aged children (ages 6-12 and 13-18) that will run concurrent to the adult session in an adjacent conference room at the Regency Lodge.
