Holiday Lights Festival & Fireworks Countdown to 2012-Shine The Light on Hunger Campaign

The Conagra Food Campus  ice rink is artificially chilled in order to keep it frozen even on the most pleasant of winter days. A $5 admission includes skate rental and benefits  the Food Bank for the Heartland. Free parking is available on the ConAgra Foods campus on Saturday from 10 a.m. to Midnight and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. A significant component of the Holiday Lights Festival is the campaign to “Shine the Light on Hunger.” The ConAgra Foods Ice Rink provides a family friendly attraction to the Holiday Lights Festival while mobilizing the community in an effort to give back to those in need. Also don’t miss out on this y ears  TD Ameritrade New Year’s Eve Fireworks  show at the Gene Leahy Mall 14th & Farnam – Festivities begin at 7pm as we countdown to 2012. Be sure to bring your radio and tune in to 104.5 fm as all the fireworks will be choreographed to explode on cue to the musical score developed just for this occassion.
