Omaha has always hosted some great events in the past, and now with two large arenas in the state, there is even more to see and do. Lincoln has recently opened the Pinnacle Bank Arena. It seats 17,000 people and has already hosted some great acts, including P!nk, The Eagles, and Bon Jovi. They are adding new acts each month, including comedian Jeff Dunham, singer Elton John, and superstar Cher. The Arena is also the home to the Nebraska Cornhuskers basketball teams.
Of course, the Century Link has also hosted many spectacular events and has some great ones lined up, as well. Coming to Omaha soon include Luke Bryan, George Strait, and the amazing Cirque de Soleil. The Link is also home to the Creighton Bluejays basketball team, and they recently moved to the powerful Big East Conference. If you get a chance to see them in action, don’t miss out.
Also, the Holland Center and Orpheum here in Omaha provide great entertainment year round, as well. Coming soon to Omaha at these venues? How about the Omaha Symphony?? Perhaps the Nutcracker ballet, or Elf the musical? Not your cup of tea… how about pale comedian Jim Gaffigan, or Blue Collar comedian Ron White?
Here are links to each of the venues and their upcoming calendars….
Why would you live anywhere else, when we have such amazing entertainment right here in our back yard.
