Fall in Love with the Outdoors!

South Park residents are really starting to fall for this cooler weather! The cooler temperature has us all itching to go outside. Our name, South Park, foreshadows our love for the outdoors. Our property features a beautiful courtyard and neighbors the public Churchich Park- but sometimes we need to get a little further away from home.

The Omaha metro has some great terrain to explore! The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Visitor Center is offering some amazing programs this coming month. Between August 30th, 2018 and September 30th, 2018 they are offering Lewis and Clark Ranger Programs! Staff from the trail center will be available to give programs on various topics related to the Lewis and Clark Expedition. These programs can be joined anytime between 10:30 am and 2 pm and lasts for approximately 30 minutes to one hour. The best part- these mini expeditions are kid friendly. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved, have some adventure and learn about the rich history and impact that the Lewis and Clark Expeditions had in our very own backyard! This is a great time to get outside and explore without tons of mosquitoes and sweat. Visitomaha.com has more information on this event and more going on all throughout the fall.
