Every time Peyton Manning yells OMAHA against the Patriots January 19th, 500.00 will be donated to his charity!
Five (5) Omaha based companies have pledged to donate $500.00 to Peyton Manning’s foundation for at-risk youth for every time the Denver Broncos’ quarterback shouts “Omaha” during the AFC championship game against the Pat’s this Sunday. Manning brought national attention to our fair city, Omaha Nebraska, Nebraska’s largest city with his loud “Omaha” pre-snap calls during the Broncos’ playoff win over San Diego last weekend. He shouted OMAHA 44 times!
The participating companies are ConAgra Foods, First National Bank of Omaha, Mutual of Omaha, Omaha Steaks and Union Pacific Railroad.
Any predictions for this Sunday? The staff here at South Park Apartments in Omaha are pretty much divided. Either way it is going to be a hard fought game. With Denver wanting to win their first Superbowl since 1998 and Tom Brady wanting to end his career with a Superbowl win makes for a great game. 2:00pm CST.
