Essential Travel Tips!

Here at Peony Village we love the summer months! Our pool is open, the landscaping is at its peak and there is gorgeous weather to enjoy the Keystone trail located right near our property. Although we love having all of these amenities for you to enjoy, it is always great to get away and take a vacation in the summer. Did you know that the most popular month for people to take vacation time in the United States is July? This is such a popular time to get away from your daily routine and enjoy some new scenery. We wanted to share just a few tips that will make your vacation a breeze:

• Be sure to let the leasing office know if you will be on vacation for more than 7 days! We want to be able to check in on your apartment and make sure that everything is in order.
• Don’t snub public transportation in big cities! Save yourself money by skipping Uber and utilizing subways, bus and train systems at your destination. Most transit workers are happy to help get you where you need to be.
• Try to pack light! You want to save room for the things you collect on your trip. Plus, no one likes to be bogged down by heavy luggage. Plan your itinerary ahead of time and pack accordingly. Limit yourself on items that are space hogs like shoes and towels.
