Celebrate the Culinary Scene and Dine Out During Omaha Restaurant Week!
We sure love food over here at Pacific Gardens and thankfully, we are lucky enough to have quite a few great restaurants within walking distance. But now, with Omaha Restaurant Week in full effect, we are able to branch out of our comfort zone and try some other amazing local restaurants that our city has to offer.
This year, over 40 restaurants in the Omaha area have decided to select certain items to form a prix fixe menu for diners. What’s prix fixe mean? It means that the diner can enjoy a coursed menu at a set price. For instance, the participants in Omaha Restaurant Week have set menus at $19, $29 and $39 for three courses. The diner can choose from a selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts to create their own personalized dining experience. Some restaurants even offer a beverage with their menu. And to top things off, all of these restaurants are supporters of the Food Bank for the Heartland. So your dining helps support a local charity as well.
From the Old Market to West Omaha, from seafood to an old fashioned steak house, there is something for everyone. (Trust me, I’ve scouted out every single menu!) Omaha Restaurant Week runs from September 14th – 23rd. Check out the website below for more information and participating restaurants. Bon appetit!
