June 8th ~ Best Friends Day

This holiday is especially exciting for Disney fanatics. We urge everyone to observe this unique holiday by practicing your best Donald Duck Impersonation all day!

With the weather warming up outside, this day would be one of many perfect days to cool down with a nice glass of iced tea!
June 11th ~ National Corn on the Cob Day
This Holiday is perfect for us here in Cornhusker nation! Think about adding fresh corn on the cob to your family dinner.

The flip flop is widely recognized as the shoe of summer, and we could not be more excited. Take a walk outside, or even through your apartment sporting your summer footwear.

June 14th ~ Flag Day
Flag day commemorates the official adoption of the American Flag. Today would be a good day to make an American Flag themed craft, like red, white, and blue popsicles.
June 15th ~ National Nature Photography Day
Exploring nature is a great way to celebrate June and the start of summer. Take a walk around Askarben’s Stinson Park, or Elmwood, and share your best nature photograph!
June 16th ~ Fresh Vegetable Day
This is an amazing way to celebrate all of the new and exciting fresh vegetables that summer brings along with it! Try incorporating a new vegetable into your dinner!
