Bundle Up! Blizzard-like Conditions Expected at These Omaha Apartments

02/01/2016

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…

Just when we thought that the harsh winter weather was behind us, BAMM we are expecting a blizzard! Who knows what will really happen, maybe we will only get an inch or two of white dust? Whatever the case, you should always prepare yourself for a winter storm. Here are a few helpful tips:

  • Stay home if possible. Roads and walkways will be icy.
  • Build an emergency supply kit. You never know how bad the storm could get.
  • Keep a battery-powered radio on hand to ensure that you are updated on current weather conditions.
  • Constantly remind yourself that summer is only a few short months away.

Visit the link below from the National Weather Service for additional helpful tips on winter safety.

Celebrating Martin Luther King Day at these Omaha Apartments

Today we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy.   Some people got the day off from work, as banks are closed, and other Federal offices observe the holiday, as well.    Most schools are in session, but it’s a good day to reflect on our differences and what he meant to this country.  Without MLK, we may not have the fair housing standard that we do today that makes it possible for people of all creeds, colors, races, genders, sexual preferences, and ages to obtain housing in a fair and practical manner.    The Fair Housing Act of 1968 was passed one week after the murder of King.

Here is more information about that act:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_Housing_Act

We can all thank Martin Luther King Jr for discrimination free housing today.   Robert Hancock and Co. and all its properties are proud to serve everyone and follow fair housing practices.   Happy home hunting everyone.

New Hours Starting Today at these Omaha Apartments

The “winter” season has officially arrived.  Halloween has passed, and Thanksgiving is right around the corner.

Daylight Savings has changed the daily outlook.  With that, today, November 2nd, for those Robert Hancock & Co. properties staying open until 6pm, we have gone back to our winter hours and close all offices at 5pm.

For those properties open on Saturdays, those hours will remain the same.

New Hours Coming to this Omaha Apartment

Each fall season, as the days get shorter, all the Robert Hancock & Co. properties shorten their days to match the sunlight.

Parking Enhancements coming to this Omaha Apartment

Wednesday, October 7th, we will have Parking Area Maintenance out at the property to do significant asphalt work to the parking lot.  Please note that if you see signs out for no parking, please follow them closely.    The major area to watch is the south end of the property.   That entrance down to the first dumpster, will be worked on the most.  Please avoid that area starting 8 am on Wednesday.

Thanks for your cooperation, and as always, we hope you enjoy the enhancements we do to the property.
