As the days get warmer, remember…

As the weather is turning warmer, there are a few things to remember when living in an apartment.

• Make sure the thermostat is properly set. It may get warm during the day but at nights it’s still getting chilly. If you turn on the AC, make sure you turn it off at night so you don’t wake up in an igloo. If you turn the heat on at night, remember to turn it off in the morning so your apartment doesn’t turn into a sauna.
• With the warmer weather, make sure that your window screens are properly sealed. Bugs getting inside can cause issues, especially for food that’s been left out.
• Try to get to know a neighbor. Being besties isn’t required, but if something were to go wrong, knowing the people around you can be helpful. Swap phone numbers so they can alert you of anything odd like a lurker hanging around.
• AC not keeping up? Let maintenance know right away so we can keep you as comfortable as possible!
