Giving Made Easy!

Was part of your New Year’s resolution to give more? Or do you simply find your home filled with extra food, unwanted gifts, or items you’ll no longer use due to new things you received over the holidays? Well, you’re in luck! There are a few options in your neighborhood to help giving go easier for you.

Just one block north of South Park is a Goodwill donation center. Drop off any unwanted clothes, books, movie, appliances, furniture, gadgets, and gizmos.

Just across the street you can drop off your extra non-perishable food items for donation at the Family Fare grocery store. They are a drop off location for Food Bank for the Heartland. Their most needed food items are:

Peanut butter
Macaroni & cheese
Canned tuna & chicken
Cereal
Pancake mix
Canned fruit & vegetables
Pork & beans
Pasta & sauce
Boxed meals
