45 Retailers and 4 Eateries are due to open soon for South Park and Omaha shoppers!
So far, 45 retailers and four eateries — Scooter’s coffeehouse, Subway, Auntie Anne’s and Bakery Express — are planning to open stores at the new Nebraska Crossing Outlets mall. For South Park Apartment residents they can jump on the freeway at 2 convenient locations 1 east and 1 west of our location here at 50th and Grover Street.
The outlet mall’s list of stores continues to grow almost weekly, with the mall scheduled to open Nov. 15 — it is just in time for this year’s holiday shopping season.
14 new retailers, 3 new eateries
The roster of retailers opening factory or outlet stores at the new Nebraska Crossing Outlets mall in Gretna continues to expand. Mall developers have announced 14 new stores and three new eateries, joining a half-dozen retailers announced earlier this month.

Along Interstate 80 and Highway 31, a series of steel pylons, 50-foot digital structures, have been erected. When completed, they will point the way to the new mall, whose “rural modern” architecture draws its inspiration — shapes, color scheme and landscaping — from the prairie. Burnished yellows, burnt oranges, barn-side reds and other hues are intended to complement and complete the mall’s design.
Multiple entrances will lead into the open-air mall, which Yates said he expects will draw 3 million to 4 million visitors each year from a 150-mile radius, create 500 to 600 full- and part-time jobs and generate an estimated $150 million in yearly sales.
